Welcome to Loch Insh, the gateway to the Cairngorms National Park.
Loch Insh is the ideal holiday destination or simply a great place for a family day out.
A range of watersports are on offer including: sail sports, paddle sports, raft building, fishing and rowing on the loch. Off the water we have archery, play parks, and a dry ski slope, great team building apparatus. Not forgetting stunning walks and mountain biking.
The Boathouse Restaurant boasts a most spectacular view, looking south west and enjoys amazing sunsets most evenings.
- Ski & snowboard hire will be available in the base of the building 9am - 5pm
- Instruction on the ski slope by prior arrangement
- The chalets and rooms at Insh Hall are available by booking at the main office by Insh Hall from 9am to 5pm or book on line from our website
The Boathouse Summer Sessions
With Ailsa Villegas, a popular, local artist with a variety of music styles and uplifting vocal harmonies. Friday 24th June, 8pm till late.
School of Aspiring Superheroes
Cake, community crafts, beat-the-baddie challenge, fly-like-superman and meet local heroes! Come along to the launch of the world’s first “School of Aspiring Superheroes” to find out more about the upcoming free 12-month Super-syllabus. At the Club you will be exploring and developing our unique powers so our collective confidence soars. Not just for kids, it’s for anyone with a sense of curiosity, community and honour.
