It’s a lovely old building, very basic inside but perfect for a group requiring little more than a warm comfortable base to walk or canoe from.

Its situation next to the Spey and the Spey side way makes it a good spot for exploring the north east.

In winter time it’s only 30 minutes drive from the Lecht which offers the most consistent snow conditions in Scotland in resent years.

It sleeps 16 with two separate shower rooms to accommodate youth groups with a mix of boys and girls. Its possible to camp outside on the platform too if you have bigger numbers

The kitchen is basic but large and easy to cook for that number.
A large living area with Log burner and comfy chairs is on hand to unwind and rest those weary muscles.
