Lots of head scratching today. Start off with an improvised rafting session; great to see team work, knot tieing and paddling skills in action. Have a go at improvised raft building, a great way to spend a summers day. Lets hope it floats!
In the afternoon a problem solving session This builds on many of the same skills, as we dream up ever more complicated scenarios. These will always be pitched at the age and ability though. Always good fun. This evening is often the highlight of the week with our BBQ and disco night. Kids look forward to this night all week. It finishes with a prize giving and issue of certificates which are given out by the Loch Insh instructors on duty that week. We then watch some video or stills of the week which you get to take away with you as a reminder of the kids week. We always try to get as many faces on the film and always try to get the crashes and falls as well as the teachers having a go! A great memento of your week!
This morning the group can try their hand at archery. Always good if you have a score to settle! And a dry sport to finish the week on so no need for wet clothes to take home before jumping back on the bus. We leave the Highlands and Loch Insh today after your packed lunch and return back to your town or school
