Sailing is one of our most popular sports, perhaps
because it’s accessible to everyone.
Whether you're looking for the thrills of a Dart 16, or the challenge of mastering Seafarer (a small day yacht with a
keel, an altogether dryer experience!), there really is
something for everyone.
Minimum age for learning to sail is six. Children will
be taught in a boat of there own in an Optimist boat,
weather permitting. |

There is a lot that can go wrong in a sailing boat so
before you can take one out yourself you require a
little more instruction than other activities.
Our two day course will get you an RYA level 1
certificate and give you the confidence to practice a
little more yourself.
The five day course brings you up to level 2 which is
the recognised international certificate required for
hiring boats anywhere in the world.
We also run advanced RYA levels, Spinnakers,
Seamanship skills, Trapezeing, Racing, Multihulls and
Keelboats.
Call to find out about our instructor courses which run
each year.
