Went to Loch Insh in summer time. Was lovely. Saw osprey nests with young in them. Can hire boats of all makes and canoes, you can even bring your own. We had a great time with our canoe and even took a bottle of wine with us and some food so we could stop half way down the river to eat. It is great for kids of all ages to play in the water and is totally safe. A great day out for the family. It will surprise you. We had a great time and recommend it. They also have a restaurant if you want to eat there or have a pint.
