The water is still freezing this time of year but for experienced people this can be a great time for wind and with our full range of 5mm ion hire wetsuits you couldn’t be better equipped for a session on the water. bring sensible foot wear, as no wet boots to hire, but ion 3/2 wet boots £25 in the bosuns locker shop on site.
Action packed May see's us welcoming returning schools through the week but don’t be put off as the restaurant is rarely busy and there’s always plenty of action out on the water, this is a good time for windsurfing as the water has begun to warm up and we will be running beginner windsurfing lessons in conjunction with the Team15 club every Saturday at 1PM costing a reduced rate of £25 for under fifteen years kids, just come along and all will become clear,
Weekends are generally quiet during may so if you after a quiet getaway it's the perfect time. Remember this year for the first time chalet guests receive free use of the water sports equipment for the duration of their stay, keeping the cost of your holiday to a minimum.
Quieting down with school groups the focus moves towards family holidays, whilst relaxing in some of the nicest weather we get at Loch Insh, the perfect time to see all the wildlife on the loch as everything bursts into spring

Scotlands 5 weeks of summer rarely fall into this high season month but if the sun does grace us it’s a fantastic time to get to grips with sailing, windsurfing and canoeing. Sometimes with weather so warm you can enjoy the water in nothing more than swimsuit and buoyancy aid!
We run multi activity weeks throughout the summer weeks as well as sailing course across the levels and windsurfing courses for all ages and abilities.
This is the only time we run our paddle sports course which introduces participants to everything you need to know about canoeing. With two days in canoes and three days in kayaks this course is second only to sailing having been the back bone of loch Insh activity holidays from the early seventies.
We take you down the Spey from relatively sedate meanderings from Kingussie to Loch Insh. The river increases in speed and difficulty through the week as we progress down to Aberlour . There’s an option of an overnight camping trip in the kayaks on the last two days which is great way to finish the week.
Every Saturday 1pm to 4pm
Team 15 has a host of new members of all ages and abilities so please feel free to come and see what its all about and get involved.
We have members from all over the Highlands and Aberdeenshire even as far as Perthshire - you don't have to come every week just as much as you can
Every Saturday £25 for newcomers
